    The "NRA Guide to Rifles and Shotguns". Mine is the older version published in 1980. ISBN 0-935998-32-2. You can find used ones in good shape cheap for sale on Amazon and Boookfinders.

    the encyclopedia i mentioned will give you spring sizes, # of coils, length, dia, etc. same for pins. used it many times in my shop. expensive.. but worth the information. glad to help. 260

    P3, check with Bob at www.gun-parts.com , great guy and has all kinds of oddball obsolete parts that he doesn't have listed on his site.

    I keep spring material on hand so I just make my own. I have no experience with these until now, but with an IPB it's a piece of cake.
    The shotgun is now assembled and functions fine and I have a source for the wood.
