American Standard Shotgun
I have a 12 ga. single barrel shotgun that was manufactured by the American Standard company. It is unusual in that it has two triggers, the front trigger opens the barrel and the rear operates the hammer.
It looks like a saddle gun in that the barrel is long (32") and the stock is curved in at the butt plate. The dual trigger guard is brass.
I would just like to find out what I can about the gun.
Thank you.
Gary

I have just a bit of information that might apply to your gun. The first is the name AMERICAN STANDARD. That refers back to the American Standard Ordnance Company, a gun maker located in New York City 1888 to 1889. Could you post a photo of the gun? 0 -
I will try to figure out how to do the photo thing. I am just new to the website and it may take a few days.
Thanks for the info.0
