Identify this bolt
I need help identifying this bolt. I know I have seen this before but can't rember what model it is. It is about 2 1/4" overall in length and 1 1/8" high. It appears to be a .22 caliber. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks, Gunswapper.

I have what appears to be a bolt for a .22 caliber rifle. Ihave been told this was for a Mauser rifle. The bolt measures about 5 5/8 inches long overall and the un-blued portion of the bolt body measures about 0.626 inches in diameter. Let me know if more measurements are needed and which ones. Thanks in advance for any help identifying this bolt.

I don't have the gun near me ,But that does look like the bolt from a
Romanian training rifle in .22lr. The gun has all the feel and "looks" of a Mauser. Can't get to this gun this week end, but if no one else
knows, I will try to re- post on Monday. Bob0 -
Yes, It's from a Romanian "Cugir" 22. 0 -
Definitely looks like a Mauser. It has the same safety and the whole rear of it looks like a perfect match to my dads Mauser 98 bolt that I happen to have sitting right here. The front is different but it will be since it's a rimfire. 0 -
The safety of Mauser "B" series and the Mauser KKWs are located on the bolt, but the similarity ends there. The "B" series uses an extractor just like the 98, but smaller in scale. The KKW uses a bolt more closer in appearance to the Romanian, but it is not a KKW bolt. Here is the bolt from my Cugir.
