Just pick up a Ruger Mini 14 in stainless steel 223. caliber dont know how to down load pictures for it. a serial# 185-068xx Could some one tell me any information about the rifle the year it was made the model all information about the 223 0 -
I have seen several at the range - they go bang every time - not a very accurate 45 due to the long bullet jump to the barrel and a very poor scatter gun past a few feet - scatter is a good word for the pattern. To me it seems to be neither fish nor fowl. A passing fad I think. 0 -
Check it out @ box o'truth .com 0 -
FWIW, there seems to be quite a few used ones in pawn shops and at gun shows. The local Cabelas had 4 or 5 in their Gun Library a couple of months ago.
Obviously the numbers could be a reflection of the economy, but a lot of people do seem to have given up on this pistol fairly quickly.0 -
I like mine, with the Federal 410 revolver copper plated buckshot, it makes for a good defense weapon. I will be keeping mine. 0 -
i am not a taurus fan due to some new guns coming in with problems but we got some of the public defenders in stainless and with some of the new current offerings of 410 buckshot at the current range for self defence they were good that i accepted one in to my own collection , loads are a bit stiff with the boot grip..i have to admit i like it..i will be experimenting with some roll yur own loads..good ammo is federal buck, remington buck, winchester PDX(dang good blast with this but powder stinks like russian ammo?..centurian 410 buck in 2.5 will not work in the 2.5 chamber.when fired it opens past chamber too bad as it has .40 buckshot..unfired ammo must be no longer than 2 1/4..with proper wad there should not be any rifling marks for evidence[}:)] 0
