model 12 skeet safety modication
Any info here on a supposed factory option for model 12 skeet. There is a safety modification that results in a rotating lever installed in place of the normal push button. This small lever extends into the trigger a little and provides a quicker release for use while mounting the gun from the waist held position of skeet. I would like to buy (I will put on WTB forum) and would like to know about installation procedure.

I can't help much, But I have a Model 12 Heavy Duck up on auction that has a "Crowe" brand rotating safety. Maybe looking at my auction will help. I have no idea on how to install them and assumed it was an aftermarket add on. The safety works really slick and would be great for lefties.

There was a *crow* or crow's foot safety manufactured
but I always thougth that it was an alternate to the
push button. No idea about the installation.

I never saw a competitive Skeet or Trap shooter use a safety of any sort.

I just happen to have in the herters package what they call a lever type safety for the model 12 & 25 winchester. It is used but i would say that its in very good condition and even has the instructions with it to install it. If you are interested in this please email me at bratterree@cox.net It surely wouldn't cost much to ship it. 0
