Kimber Stainless II TLC?
Surprised my wife when were shopping Saturday and bought something I have always wanted. I bought a 1911 style pistol. Of all the 1911s I held it was between a Springfield and a Kimber Stainless II. I chose the Kimber. Hope I did good! I am very new to pistols and would like advice on how to best take care of my new gun. Kimber says I should strip it down after every session of shooting. Is that right? Any advice you could give I would appreciate. Thanks! I have a hard sided Plano 18" pistol case for her.
Thanks!
Thanks!

After shooting, scrub the barrel and the feed ramp. Clean off any other residue and lube the slide rails before reassembly. Stainless guns are pretty low maintenance externally. Just wipe it down with a thin film of lube/oil/whatever you use to prevent rust and that's about it. Welcome to the Kimber club. You'll love it. 0
