Help ID 30 cal 220gr componet bullet mfg w/ PICS
Have a couple of questions about some componet bullets that I have and was wondering if someone can help me ID the manufacturer. These bullets weigh 220gr and are 30 caliber(.3085" in diameter), and have a round nose full metal jacket? profile w/ crimp groove. I bought these in an unmarked container, so I have no history on where they were made. I am guessing they were intended for large/dangerous game hunting for deep penetration, perhaps for bear hunting? Anyone seen these before or used them? Here are some pics

Might be Krag or .30-03 military. 0 -
76k20,
I am thinking that Hornady made those. I know that they still make a roundnose that looks identical to the soft point, and am pretty sure they used to make the FMJ version of that also, like you suggested, for Dangerous game.
