Win m70 pre 64 bolt handle

    My M70's made in 1949, 1950, & 1953 have solid knobs. The ones I have that were made in 1956, 1959, & 1960 have hollow knobs. I'd guess yours is "correct".

    Originally introduced on the Featherweight in mid 1952, it was adapted to the standard rifles as well. Not all the early featherweights got them and it transitioned slowly to the standard rifles after that. The bolt probably has the same serial number as the rifle etched in it.
