Souper neck cracks
while prepping my brass i found about 9 pcs. that had cracks both vertical an horizontal in the neck area only, one neck actually i broke off with just with finger pressure...
not wanting to answer my own question but would that be from brass fatigue -[thinking maybe i should have annealed the brass]
the brass remington brand was bran new which was then re-formed to a different caliber an has been fired 3 times
now getting ready for the 4th reload is when i found the case failure.... 1st time i've had any problems with any cases
the case is a .260.. reformed in a hydrualic die, then FL sized to a .25 souper case, but w/ a 45* shoulder .. after 1st firing the case has only been neck sized there after ... custom but a no turn chamber
any thoughts ... comments .. ideas... thanks

Anneal the Brass But it might already be too late for this batch. Do it before you ever reform it the first time. 0
