S&W Nickle Plated 357 Magnum

Hello Everyone. I have a S&W Nickle Plated 357 Magnum MOD 19-2 that I am interested in selling but have no idea its value. It has a 2 inch barrel with target site and grip. I bought it from Little John's Gun Auctions in 1988. It was previously owned by a private collector and is in real good condition. Can anyone give me a rough idea of it's value?

  Welcome to the forum.
  
  First, take several clear photos and post them as per the sticky at the top of the page. Once the photos are posted, the S&W experts will give their opinion.
  
  Second, do a search on the auction side for Model 19 S&Ws. Make sure you include completed auctions. This will give a better idea as to the value.

  also, do you have the box numbered to the gun? the tools that came with it? the literature that was in the box? the "wax paper" the gun was wrapped in?
  
  that adds to the value as well
