I own a John Wayne commemorative Winchester 42-40 replica of the one made famous in True Grit. With gold plates and trim with the box I bought it in. Never had a round put in it, and I'm wondering what its value is? Please help.

  Most are in a condition similar to yours and sell for $900 -$1300 with the average being around $1000.
