30 06 bolt

Thank you all for your input.I do realize that I would need to take my frfle and new bolt to a gunsmith.Need the bolt first.Maybe a rough price from one of you.I know Remington is going to be pricy, maybe I can get a new rifle cheaper, but this one has only had a dozen or so shells through it.

  Have a Remington Mod 700 BDL 30 06. Need a complete bolt assy. Any help?

  You could just send it to Remington. They can drop a new bolt in, check headspace, adjust as needed, and send it back to you without a lot of hassle.

  As I stated previously, Remington will replace the bolt of course but the cost is just plain stupid. Even private party bolts are overpriced these days although they are less expensive when compared to a factory Remington replacement.
