S&W Model 57 date of manufacture please

Just bought a S&W model 57 blue with 8 3/8" barrel on the auction side serial #N489931. Anyone help with date of manufacture? Reply is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  according to the scsw it would be somewhere in 1978. i have 3 57's myself all with the 8 3/8". you will love that gun they are beutys.
