Newton rifles

How rare are the Newton rifles chambered in 30-06. I understand that approximately 4000 were only Mfg and sold through out America and Canada. Do these come up from time to time for sale? Any information would be great. Thanks

  While all Newton's are fairly scarce they quite often come up for sale. The most popular being the .256. In total production the 30 Gov't could possibly been up to one third. Other factors play in as well, such as which model you have. If you have an Oberndorf made Newton it would be more rare.
