Minimum Shotgun Length

What is the minimum barrel length for a dbl. barrel shotgun. And what is the minimum overall length if the stock were cut down?

18" and 28" respectively, but I'd add an extra 1/2" to each just to be safe.

I thought it was 18"plus and 26"plus but I could be rusty.

18 inches for the barrel(s) and 26 inches OAL is correct.

If you want to go the NFA route you can have whatever length barrel and overall that you want.

If you have it made for you as a pistol (no stock) you only have to pay the $5 AOW tax.

If you modify one that was made with a stock, that would be the $200 SBS tax.
