How exactly are those mounted Armalite?

got the link to where you got them?

Or did you figure out how to make them yourself?

    thanks,

They can only be mounted on milled trigger groups with a single hole drilled in the appropriate spot. I'll have to double check where they came from but I'm pretty sure that place that specializes in SKS's in Michigan. I think the name is DCM or something like that but I'll double check and repost here if I don't talk to you on the phone some time today.

They were $16.50 in their catalog but it was an old one. Don't think the price changed to much.

Their web site has been determined to be an auction site and links are no longer allowed on these boards.

I think the intent behind the original question was to keep the original stock. This bullpup looks like a pretty cool product, though again, I question the wisdom of "tacticalizing" your SKS.

That might be a reasonable choice if you (for whatever reason) can't get a better "tactical" (for lack of a better word) gun, or you have some particular attachment to a certain gun. But if you add up the $160 cost of this product (plus shipping, plus accessories), with the $250 value of a decent SKS nowadays, you could just buy an AK rifle. With the AK, detachable high cap mags will work out of the box, and you can easily add a true folding stock (or collapsible one), any pistol grip you like, a true receiver-mounted scope, etc. Its just a better platform for this kind of thing. If you want a Bullpup AK, those cost about $500-600, though again, unlike your SKS, they'll run right out of the box with 30+ round mags.

Also, not only is converting an SKS this way potentially illegal (because of 922a rules on a Federal level, and some State rules), but you give up one of the biggest advantages of an SKS. . .namely that its NOT legally considered an "assault rifle".

If you are interested in making your SKS into the "Appalachian Assault Rifle" [;)], one of these $60 Tapco stocks will get you there a bit cheaper:
