Rolling Block Identification
Hey There:
I have an old Rolling Block I'm having difficulty identifying. I believe it is a Remington rolling block #4 22 rifle, but I know little about these. It is not marked #4, as one other I have seen. The serial number is 13157X. It has a 22.5 inch barrel, with the original front and rear sights. Its in OK condition. Bore is very rough, but rifling is still visible. It is missing everything but the receiver, mainspring, trigger, extractor, and buttstock. I don't know what is involved in relining a barrel, or how in the world I could find the rest of the parts.
I have searched older posts, and they have raised more questions than I previously had. Any help in the correct identification, value, and parts help would be extremely helpful. Other advice as well.
