About $7.00 to a shooter, maybe 12 to a collector.

That ammo is going for $ 50.00 per box as shooter ammo. None for sale and no other being made at this time.

Thanks. I came across 8 boxes and some loose rounds last night. Quite a difference in the 2 answers I received so far. I did a search and didn't find any recently sold.

Photos usually help to avoid this type of confusion.

Google it and you'll find some for sale. $49.95 at a competing auction site for OWS stuff manufactured for Old Western Scrounger in the '90s I think. And more at $100+ for collectable Peters etc. ammo. The Remingtons are probably going for $40 to $50 a box although I've seen a box or two for a little less at some gun shows.

There was/is 124 rounds of it on GB that did not sell many times listed for $45. It is available from different suppliers now for less than $10 a box. If yours is in a good condition vintage box, maybe $30. Do not go by the prices some ask for it, it is not gold. Many sellers ask high prices on old .22 shells and boxes, but few are worth it. Everybody wants to believe that old .22 box of shells they found in grand pa's shed is going to get them a new rifle. Sorry. I have collected many older boxes, much rarer, and older than yours. the most I ever paid was $45 and that was for a full two-piece box of .38SW from 1887.
post pictures please. If your ammo is for the 1916 remington ONLY it will have a little more value. Again post pictures please. bob
