It's not seen often, but I wouldn't call it "rare".

Value depends upon what it looks like. Close ups photos of the gun & accessories are needed. See the "posting photographs" sticky.

As I recall they were originally made for a French police contract in the 80's. Seems their were two barrel lengths, with the 3" RB being the most common.

Unless you absolutely have to sell it now, I would hold on to it until things turn around jobs wise. Lot of folks are hurting, buying guns is not a top priority, needless to say.

They are an interesting novelty, but not really rare. A few years ago when buyers actually had money, NIB examples like my own were bringing close to $800, but I don't see them moving today at anywhere near that price [:(]

The one I picked up has square bottom,4" barrel and adjustable sights and a rubber grip which looks after market. It is in excellent condition.

Seems that it has been reworked, if it has adjustables. Both the ones with the 3" and 4" barrels, had the fixed rear sight groove in the top of the frame. Years back when I was interested in buying one, that's what changed my mind. There are so many different 9mm loadings it would never shoot to POA. I guess the French cops just used one 9mm load, so it was no big thing to them.
