CROSS BOW SCOPE
Is a cross bow scope
rugged enough to handle a light weight shot gun with slugs? Want something with a lot of eye relief for my grand son. I have the scope which is a Simmons 2 or 4 power. I think the cross hair tree is graduated at 10 yards each. Its on an old Barnett 125 pound bow.

I'd recomend a shotgun scope for it. I have a Simmons 1.5-5 power that works very good, and the price is not bad. 0 -

Probably NOT.
Light shotgun with slugs puts out quite a hard recoil jolt; A dedicated bow scope really isn't designed to handle that.
A dedicated shotgun scope shouldn't cost too much.
If you're interested in eye relief, you might also consider a simple red dot scope. Those work well on shotguns.0
