You have a Mauser 98 action with a Hart heavy varmint barrel in 257roberts with a 1 in 10 twist. It sits in a fajen stock that has a LOP of 13 inchs.
If this is not correct please post pictures[:(]

    smacjet,

    Welcome to the forum!

First, you need to identify what type action it is (Mauser 98, Win 70, Rem 700?. That's assuming it's a bolt action. And verify that it's a .257 Roberts. Great cartridge BTW.

If you haven't dealt with these much and don't understand the terms it won't edit: take much for a good gunsmith local in your area to help you. Most times they don't charge, or charge very much, to do the necessary footwork to get you shooting this thing.

    EditII:

    Babun,

    How did you know that?

Look at the top few post "STICKY" this will tell you how to Post Pictures. without pictures this will be like asking I saw a guy named bill and want to know if you can tell me his last name.[V][:(] The 257R most likely stands for a Cartridge named 257 Roberts. but the receiver /Name of the rifle could be anything. you need to HELP US.
