Lachmiller dies?
Anyone ever heard of Lachmiller reloading dies? If so, are they worth a darn?

In their day, they were the equal of anything on the market. 0 -
I've got a couple of sets that are in regular use. One is marked ".300 Magnum", made in the day when the H&H was THE .300 magnum. The other set is in .222 Remington Magnum. As has been said, they're as good as any. 0 -

Lachmiller reloading dies were and for the most part are still as good as current middle-of-the-road commercial dies. RCBS bought them out back in the '60s, I think. Lots of their gear was sold by Herter's.

I ran across a set at a yard sale the other day. Are parts still available, i.e. decapping pins? 0 -
NeoBlackdog,
"Are parts still available..."
It's been nearly 50 years but you might find something. Your best bet might be to call RCBS to ask them since they purchased Lachmiller.
