I bought a remington apache 77 .22lr which is extremely dirty. Could anyone tell/show me how to clean this rifle?

  From experience, be sure the action is cocked and the safety is on before taking it apart. If you don't, you will have problems trying to get it together again. The action needs to stay cocked for proper assembly.
