M1 grand barrel

I have just seen an M1 barrel, it was an H&R and all that was on the side was HRA 4-52. There was nothing before it or after it on the side of the barrel. and yes it was 30.06 and mounted on an M1 for sale. Is this a true H&R 1952 barrel? Any help out there?

  Yes! H&R produced a M1 rifle in 1952 and H&R logo, month and year would be stamped on the barrel. The is no reason for anyone to fake this barrel so with out seeing it you and I will assume it is the real thing.
