S&W 3rd Mod. Hand Ejector
Looking for some pro opinions. A couple months ago I came across a Smith 3rd model hand ejector in 32 long at the pawn shop. About 70% with a very good bore and original grips in really nice shape. Picked it up for $80. According to Blue Book, the serial number for this model starts at 263,001. This one is marked 263,206. My dilemma is this; I am considering selling it and can't decide whether to go to the gun show with it or would I be wiser to try gunbroker? Not an FFL holder and would have to try to arrange shipping with an out of town entity. Would you think there would be any inherent collector value with such an early serial number in that particular series to make it worth the extra trouble? Thanks for any replies.

IMHO, a .32 S & W revolver @ 70% would have little collector demand/value. All the pawn brokers I've run into over the years were knowledgeable on values, specially since the inception of the net gun auctions in the last 10/12 years. Sell it locally if you can, rather then the hassle of shipping through a out of town dealer, if you can't ship it yourself. 0 -
These revolvers are very high quality and fun to shoot.
I suspect you could triple your cost.
Serial number doesn't do anything.0
