I have seen a Beretta 62-M Rifle. Is this rifle currently manufactured? Can someone tell me it's accuracy, reliability, and re-sale potential. It looks very much like a bigger version of a Ruger Mini. Is it in that same "class?" I always thought Beretta manufactured top quality arms. It's fairly expensive and I can't find any info. on it, and know less about it than I can find. Any help here by a previous or current owner would be appreciated. Is this like hierloom material or shoot it and throw it away material?

    Thank You

    Dave

Type F has an external ambidextrous safety decocking lever. Type C does not but has a half-cock safety. Type D is double-action only.

Thanks, Schintzie. I had a brain freeze on the "G" models.

    Hello chargers10,

Type G is de-cock only, no manual safety.

Well the C stands for cr*p, the f stands for f****ing cr*p, and the G stands for the Grandmother of all f***ing cr*p.

I've owned and traded off two different Px4-F storm handguns, and they were all of the above. Everything from the wonderfully engineered ergonomics of the slide lock lever with needs to be modified if you shoot just about any ball ammo because it likes to grab just infront of the ogive of every other ball round and lock the slide, to the awesome quality control of the polymer which doesn't swell or deform in southeast Texas heat causing magazines to stick. Did I mention the wonderfully consistent accuracy. I picked up my first one used pretty cheap after watching a really cool show that came on the outdoor channel which pushed them pretty hard, and when I had problems I sold it thinking it was just a bad egg or the previous owner maybe messed something up and bought a brand new one to have the same problems.

If you want a decent rotating barrel gun then get an STI GP6. They are around the same price and you'll like it a heck of alot better.
