S&W m&p 40c
I purchased this gun in January and have only put 40 rounds through it. I also have a wild bills concealment holster and some Hornady ammunition for the gun. I was wondering how much this would go for in an auction. I went to the local gun shop and they were only offering about 1/3 what I paid for it! I paid $550 for it. It's the model with no internal lock, no thumb safety, and no mag safety. It does not have the tritium sights either.

Also, is it pretty easy to ship a gun/ammo through a FFL?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

A used pistol is a used pistol. Figure a FFL will give you at most 75% of the wholesale price on it. Selling it on the auction to a private party you will likely do better, if it's a pistol that is popular and in demand. As a rule of thumb 75% of retail at most, figuring he will have to also pay shipping and dealer transfer cost also. 0 -
