Unique Model 70 Featherweight XTR

I have a M70 in .270 that I bought back in the late 80s to 1990 and I need to see if anyone has info on it. When I bought it the gun shop told me it was a limited edition that was being produced in .270 and 30-06 only plus it has a multicolored stock that I have not seen on any other rifle. It is natural wood with red and green layers that run the length of the gun. I have searched until my head hurts and have found nothing on this gun. Anyone out there know what I am talking about? Thanks!
