1943 m8 pyrotechnic pistol value?
just found a m8 in operational shape and 2 pouches of shells....12 ea pouch. they are dated in the 50's and packaged very well. aircraft ...single star...double star are some of the markings on them. they are all unfired. what i would like to find out is this stuff even legal to own anymore and is there collector value....also can it be sold????can provide pics if needed if it would help identify

No idea, but check value by googling auctions and militaria dealers.
Personally I would sell the flares separate but that's just me.
Bear in mind that the flares are not mailable and UPS has a substantial hazmat charge.0 -

Be careful with those flares. If any are marked "IM-11", they are incendiary impact explosive. Very unstable. I believe the M8 is rarer than the M-9 that replaced it. You may be sitting on some big bucks, find the right buyer. Don't be tempted to try them out. Bob 0 -
