Have a Mini 14 manufactured in 1980 with an after market AR stock, scope and bipod. Series 181. Wondering what something like this in good working condition would be worth. I have an appraisal out, waiting on it, but just sitting here and was curious. If anyone has any knowledge of this, please let me know, it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Edited to add photos, and yes, I used it to kill the care bear in the background. LOL!

First off it is not an AR stock, it is a Mini 14 stock. The stock happens to be made by Tapco and they make this same style stock for many guns.

As the others have stated there are some decent accessories there but add little to the price.

My thought was in the $500 range too. Some of that does depend on your area, what is $500 in one area maybe $700 in another and $400 in another. Problem with the MIni is that once you hit over $500 you get close to the price of an AR (now as low as about $700) and many people buy the Mini as a cheep alternative to the AR. If you can get more for it great. You might be able to get more by parting it out too.

If you have the original stock and sideplate you may be best served by selling the aftermarket addons separately. As a package you will not recoop much of their cost.

The rifle in original configuration would be about $450, and as it sits only about $100 more.
