Who Made This Pump Shotgun?
Sorry, no pics right now, but they probably aren't necessary.
This shotgun has a square hole in the top of the receiver. The locking lug on the bolt locks up on that hole. Far as I know, there was only one pump shotgun made this way.

I have a Western Field built on a Browning patent that is like that. I think mine was actually made by Stevens, and I think years ago I saw a 16 ga Stevens made exactly the same way. 0 -

BT99 is right. My Stevens 620 has the square hole for the locking lug and the hump-back Stevens 520 has the same set-up. 0 -

A picture would be nice, but i think its a savage or steavens made on a browning pat# i have one in 16gage but its only a parts gun it also has only one proof mark on it. whant to sell? 0
