sako L 461 223

I inherited a sako 223 . It is as new, with rosewood forearm tip and grip cap. It has skipped checkering with a palm swell. I have the original receipt dated 1993. on the bottom of the barrel it says stoeger. It also has a 3 x 9 leuopold scope witch I think is the same era as it shows on the receipt also. I dont have a camera to take a picture but I'm familiar with guns and I would say its 99 %. No blue wear or nicks anywhere. very smooth action. I've never owned a sako and am wondering what the value might be. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

  Its a sako deluxe and its worth quite a bit. Look them up on the auction side and see what they are doing now. 10 years ago that gun was $1200-1500.

  i once had a Sako L461 Vixen in .222 Rem. shot so much ammo thru it that the bullets were keyholing, so i sold it, wish now i had, had it rebarreled in .223 Rem., when it was new i could put 5 rounds in a quart oil can at 200 yds.
