bm59 operating rod

I have 2 new "I think BM 59 operating Rods and springs" Will these work in a M14 ?? they are marked PB 59 then have a long part number. Any help is appreciated.

  In the long run it is easier to just show you what an M14 operating rod looks like:

  If your two oprods look like that then they will work in an M14.
  
  
  If they look like the oprod shown in this photo from a disassembled M1 Garand, they will not work in an M14

  Thanks Mark, the 2 I have are about 2and a half shorter than a M1 so they are longer than a M14 Thanks for the reply I will put the up for auction as BM 59 operating rods
