matching pearl handle Colts
Hello! This is my first post on here and I have a question. I am an auctioneer in Tennessee and I am selling out an estate. This estate has numerous guns, of which, I will get to view all of them tomorrow. There is one set of Colt pistols that are back to back serial numbers with pearl handles and engraving on them. We have the orig. box and they have been placed in a glass showcase. They have never been fired. They were special ordered from COlt in 1985. We will be selling these at absolute auction to the highest bidder but the court wants an appraisal on these. I am having trouble obtaining someone to value these and I am turning to you for suggestions.

Double action Revolvers? Single Action Army? Automatics? Caliber? Blued? Stainless? Nickel plated? Any kind of a hint at all as to what we are supposed to be providing information on? 0 -

That is the outfit that imported guns from Korea that we had supplied them in the first place. Lot of blue sky M1 carbines out there, probably others. Note that our present leader does not want us to have the next batch coming up surplus.0 -
A pair of factory engraved Ivory griped Colt Saa would be very nice high interest Item. Even those made during this time period If they had been made before WW II with the boxes You would be looking at BIG BUCKS. When and where is your auction ? might have a bearing on what they would bring. Are you in a large city area in a part of the country that is active in gun collecting. 0 -

Yeah, but I just had to look for the "MAUSER P 38 with Presidential Seal and consealed Hammer". What a letdown, it is just a Luger.
You gotta appreciate the style of somebody who would put black plastic "pearl" grips on the short run 44-44-40 Sheriff's Model, too.0
