Shoulder holster for Super Blackhawk?
Can any suggest a good shoulder rig for this 7.5" bbl Ruger Blackhawk?
Perhaps a functional low cost, and good high(er) cost alternatives?

For my hunting needs, the Uncle Mike's Bandoleer worked the best.
They put the gun across your chest, not under the arm. Much more comfortable [;)]0 -
Low cost an Uncle Mike's rig--I had one and found it uncomfortable though.
for High end El Paso Saddlery--they have several kinds too from Old West to Tanker to duty style--that ruger might look nice in their Doc Holiday rig.0 -
The Bandoleer holsters work better for me than the regular shoulder rigs. 0 -
I have the Uncle Mikes "sidekick" shoulder holster that I like a lot. I use for my Super Red Hawk mostly but my scoped Super Blackhawk works also.
That model is for a scoped revolver but they make one for unscoped also. I am tall slim guy and I need to be able to get to my hand gun when is under a down vest and insulated coveralls when riding a horse or riding an ATV. I can wear ir all day with no discomfort. YMMV.0 -
Hi Beantown,
I know DeSantis and Safariland used to make some that are leather. Here is one from Galco

That said, I just got an Umcle Mikes Bandoleer rig for my newly acquired Stainless Redhawk, 7 1/2", in 41 Magnum. I got the model that has plenty of room for the scope, as I mounted a Leupold 2.5-8x on it. She is a shooter too!
