1.Will the stock and fore end for a 12ga. A5 fit a 16ga. Rem. mod. 11 ?

The Remington M11 used three different butt stocks. The differences were in the length of the tang on the receiver and trigger group housing. I won't even hazard a guess as to whether or not an A5 butt would fit any of them.
I'm sure there is a diagram of the friction peice setup on line.
