    Can I shoot a .357 bullet out of a .355 barrel. It would be a minor load.

    Are you asking if you can push a bullet made for the 38spl/357Mag through a barrel cut for 9mm bullets?
    Yes, if your chamber will accept the slightly oversize case mouth AND you work up the load.

    If your asking if you can fire a 357 Mag round from a 9mm Para chambered barrel, the answer is no

    Happens all the time in older Colts. They had noticeably smaller bore and groove diameters than Smith.

    If it's a lead bullet, yes.
    If bullets are jacketed, use a Lee Bullet sizer.

    I have some .357 bullets that I want to load for my 38 Super. The barrel is .355. These are West Coast bullets and I would be loading them to a minor power factor.

    The key question is whether a loaded round will chamber freely.
    If it does, OK.
    But you don't want it to be a press fit in the chamber. Lack of room for the case neck to expand and release the bullet will do more to raise pressure than driving a slightly oversize bullet down the barrel.

    Nominally 9mm luger barrels are supposed to be .355, but in practice, lots of the manufacturers actually manufacture them to .356, and there can be quite a bit of variability.

    Some "9mm" barrels actually prefer bullets up to .360.

    I think you won't have any serious pressure issues loading otherwise normal loads with .357 bullets. The big thing, as mentioned, is just to make sure they chamber freely.

    As a minor issue, if you are loading all lead bullets you may experience greater barrel leading with slightly oversized rounds.
