Sears 4x Riflescope..Weaver?

I picked up three scopes today from an older gentleman. Two are stamped Weaver-El Paso Texas and the other is stamped Sears 4x USA Patent # 2949816. Does anyone know who made the Sears 4x , it is in very good condition..thanks , Bull

  That patent number comes back as a Weaver.

  Thanks KC , I thought it might be by the way it looked. Steel tube and everything , a really nice scope...bull
