BCG no markings?

In my colt upper, the Bolt or carrier doesn't seem to have any markings. Any ideas on how to identify it?

  Neither does mine.
  Do you have reason to doubt they are Colt parts?

  I was under the impression that Colt marks everything they make.

  If it's Colt, the bolt will have the etched lettering 'CMP' just behind the locking lugs. The carrier will have a tiny 'c' on the left side.
  
  If not, then they are not Colt parts!

  The bolt and carrierin my Colt sporter aren't marked either.
  I bought it new in '85.
