Ice time....
I have been out on the ice a bit this year. Fished some local lakes, and traveled a bit too.
The fish have been active, and the size of most have been really good.

Here is a Crappie from a local pond.

And a Gill from the same pond.

I went walleye fishing on a lake an hour west of here. Size was not there, but the numbers where. We did manage one good eater that day, but this was the average.

And finally a day on a local lake for some Northern. We did catch a few, and one broke a 30lb steel leader. This was the best out of the hole for the day.
