Another Tecshner question.
Thanks to all with help in this thread:

On the same gun. It is only marked with the Teschner name and not Collath's or Tesco. This fact has me speculating that this gun was probably made at least before 1875 (when Teschner died) would I be wrong for presuming this? It seems most of these from the Teschner lineage had both his and Collath's or just Collath's name or Tesco, I understand the both names together would proceed just Collath's which proceeded Tesco, so I figured logically just Teschner's name would proceed all of them in date..
If my logic is sound that means this shotgun could be 150+ years old.
Thoughts?
Update: Thanks Rufe, joined and posed questions, no real help yet with 3 replies other than I may or may not have paid to much. LOL We'll see how it goes.[:)]

If none of our folks can help you, you might consider posting to shotgun specific site(s). There were a couple on the net awhile back, thou I haven't been on either for awhile. Both had European dealers and collectors participating, as the legal status of shotguns make them easier to collect/possess over there then rifles and handguns.
GOOGLE, Double Gun Journal and Shotgun World. As best as I can remember those were their names.0
