This is for anyone who will respond. I'm not a scammer, I'm just looking for fair compensation for something I have.
I have an 'FN' 1908(I believe) .32 ACP with Nazi proofs. My grandfather was in the war, passed away years ago and I came across it in a closet. It's in good condition, but not perfect. I believe it fires. I don't know much about firearms, but a guy in Fla. on {elsewhere} is selling something like mine for 1150 and I've seen ones on there for about 400 also. Where can I go to get the best price?

I appreciate any advice.

    Unless I'm losing it, I don't recall an FN 1908 model. There was a Colt 1908 model in .25 and .380. And the prelude to the Colt 1908 in .25 was the FN .25, which both are very typical of each other.
    Is it possible you have an FN 1922 in .32 caliber? There was an abundance of them made during Nazi occupation of the Belgium facility. Go to the auction side and see if the FN 1922 is the same pistol as you are referring to.

    I'm inclined to think it's a 1922 also. Occupying Nazi's only marked things made while they were there, they didn't mark old stock.
    If some guy want's $1100 for one, he's dreaming.

    Thanks for all of your help. If I can't find a local buyer, maybe I'll post it for around 400 as that seems fair.

    I saw your second post of the same topic. The Moderator tries tries to avoid that if possible. Typically, one would just reply to the "open" topic.
    For your pistol, depending on condition and what Nazi markings, as well as some of these had specific "contract" markings, you could get upwards of $600.00 for it. For that amount, you would need a set of magazines (both Nazi marked) and a holster. Also, with all collectable firearms, condition is EVERYTHING!!
    Personally, I love mine and it's all correct (including holster & two magazines), but I won't get rid of it. If this was your grandfather's "prize" from his tour overseas, I would suggest you reconsider the sale of this item. Down the road, you will probably wish you still had it. Keepsakes like that are very hard to come by.

    Anyway, my two cents....take it or leave it....

    That's exactly it!!! I've only been offered 150 for it and even though I know next to nothing about this subject, I felt it was a tad low.

    I guess around 400 is fair then. Thank you very much for your help. Maybe I'll post it if I can't find a local buyer.

    I only have 1 original mag. This was not a prize as many relics were distrubuted throughout the family. It's something I have no use for and maybe a collector would get more out of it.

    Again, I do appreciate your opinion and advice.

    I think the germans used a few Browning Model 1910/1912 pistols as well as the 1922.

    Can you please give us the numbers and words from the slide.

    Instead of giving an exact serial number lead the last three numbers "X's"
