Colt SAA questions
Could one of you Colt collectors tell me what's the deal.
In the following pics you will see 2 different Colts and their serial # stamps, or not. Does this mean the parts differ and are not original? Why does the one have the ser. # followed by SA and the other doesn't? Please tell me what you can.

I saw 2 different colt saa's in a pawn shop today. I want to see if anyone has any information on them.1)this is a 38 special blued in 90% condition. the serial #43727x. the patent is stamped 1896 i think 2)this is a 41 LC. has a 922 marked on the cylinder release. the last patent date stamped is 1905. it also has the numbers 135 and 132 marked on the butt. Also has DA41 marked on the barrel. also has place to attach butt stock. I do not have the serial number on this one. It is in about 90% condition and is also blued. I realize this is not enough information for a complete and accurate estimate of value, but any information or insight is appreciated. thanks a lot. 0 -
Serial number 39997SA (1964) is a postwar 2nd Generation Single Action while serial number 327834 (1913) is a prewar 1st Generation Single Action.
Standard serialization method for their respective generations.0
