henriksen marked rifle
Hi, I bought a rifle at a gun show. The only markings are Henriksen on the barrel and 25 Neidner on the barrel. I paid 500.00 for it. It is a beautiful rifle. It is in almost new condition. It shoots 120 grain Grand Slams almost through the same hole. I would like to know more about this rifle and did I pay too much for it. It is a mauser action. Thanks

All I know is that Iver Henricksen was a well respected gunsmith of an earlier generation. Elmer Keith liked his work.
I doubt you paid too much for it but what would you do if I said you had?
Sorry, it just always seems a peculiar question. It is too late to do anything about it. Of course many such posts are bragging over a good buy. Which this is.0 -
