Am I missing something? I was looking on the Smith & Wesson website today and I couldn't find any of their traditional, double action, metal frame, hammer fired semi-auto pistols. Did they just withdraw from that market in favor of polymer frame, striker fired Sigma, M&P and their new SD pistols and their 1911 copies only?

New traditional pistols, awesome, did they happen to give any indication of which models that they were going to re-introduce?

No, they didn't say which ones but at least they'll still be making some non-plastic, non-striker fired pistols.

Betcha dollars to donuts that you might see a Model 39 and 59 go into the Classic Line like they have done with the old style revolvers--just hope they aren't going to sell them for as much as they do the revolvers though--$800 to $1000 for a Model 39 would be way out there.
