There are a few listed on the auction side that you can use for comparison. You should also check the closed auctions to see what they actually sold for as opposed to the asking prices.

Need to post some pics--check out the sticky on the front page on how to do it. Is yours recent vintage or WWII era? $550 is on the very high end for one in darn near 100% or for some of the Nazi marked guns(doubt nickel is going to be Nazi marked but one never knows as someone could always have a gun nickel plated. Some models of the HSc get decent prices while others are barely topping out around $240.

Being it's a .380 in nickel, it's most likely the post war commercial version. The first issue was actually made by Mauser, then they licensed Gamba an Italian company to make them. All the above would have baring on the value.

I wouldn't be paying any attention to the asking prices on the auction, lot of those folks are living in the land of pipe dreams and fantasies. Like a previous poster noted the only reliably guide would be the actual selling price(s), on the completed auctions.
