    What rifle and what was is the condition In other words a near mint Winchester Model 1886 or 1885 with special features that someone put ragged oversize holes could reduce the value by Thousands of dollars a Stevens 22 single shot that has turned brown value reduced $.005

    If it was a military rifle in factory original, very good condition or better? It ruins it's value to a military rifle collector. Depending on what country it was used by, and the rarity of the original rifle, value could be reduced by hundreds of dollars.
