Need advice for future purchases
Hey,
I was wondering what opinions are out there on the Kel-tec Sub 2000 .40 cal. I'm really looking into getting one but I don't know anyone that has one and haven't heard anything good or bad about them.
Also, what are ya'lls thoughts on the Draco Ak-47 pistol? I have seen them online and would really like one (I'm kind of an Ak fan [:D]).
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I have fired the Kel-Tec in 9mm, and it is a riot, and reliable, and rairly accurate, for what it is...actually pretty accurate. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one.
As far as the AK-47 pistol, I would stay away from that, as it is just a gimmick, hard to shoot, unless you are using it just to spray. On the other hand, if you live in a state where it is allowed, I would own a Krink if I were you, with the side folding stock. Since that is a NFA weapon, there would be a $200.00 tax above the purchase price.

The Kel-Tec's aren't bad, cheap well enough made pistols for what they are, although the light plastic guns kick too much for me, including the glocks and so I prefer the weight of alloy or steel, personally I would go with a small model Khar Arms MK, Colt Defender, Kimber Ultra RCP II, Rohrbaugh R9, Springfield Armory EMP, etc.
The Romanian Draco Ak-47 pistol I actually like and what I have seen was again well enough made for what it is, however its a bit difficult to control being so small but for close in it should do the job well enough. And if you don't want stamped there is a milled version by Krebs, Firing Line and Lancaster if you can find them, although I can only vouch for Krebs concerning quality.
There are also Ar-15 pistols as well like the Olympic Arms OA-93 AR-15 Pistol, a quality well made pistol for what it is...
