Choke tube technical question..
Well most of the time I understand all things choke with shotguns,, but I am at a loss with this...
Some years ago when I was a teenager I purchaced a full choke for my mossberg 500 and I had ruined a turkey choke shooting steel... Teenagers! Luckily nothing bad happened,,, I purchaced a Mossberg Factory choke under the ACCU-Steel trade mark at the time and is no longer in produciton.. It was Full and for 4's and 6's, they also made one for the larger shot sizes. Now in this choke I have shot both 4's and 2's I suspect there isn't much difference even though it is labeled for 4's and 6's.
Maybe the constricted the larger shot more and that would hold better at longer ranges? I am not really sure why they would have made two?
I know I should just go out and pace off 30yards and shoot a target, but what do you guys think about them having two for different shot sizes?

In my earlier years of shotgunning , I learned ONE thing: pattern the load you are going to use, chokes react differently, never assume one marked "full" will group tighter than another marked "mod". Bob 0
