Well, the Nigerian scammers now have accomplices working in England. It may be legit, but, I don't know, I wouldn't send money outside the country unless I knew others who had experiences with him. Can he give your references?

I don't know what parts you were looking for but if they some how involved WWII items or some sort of Colt parts I'd be extremely cautious. Colt and WWII parts scammers seem to be very numerous overseas. 0 -

"I am in the market for three items for a Colt Pre-War 1911a1 Commercial model. First one mainspring housing checkered W/O lanyard loop second grip safty amd last 7rd mag with COLT 45 AUTO. marked on bottom of mag. The parts are going on a Pre-War Colt serial number range of C170000 to C199000. Parts must have original finish in about %85% to 90% condition. I am willing to pay a good price for good product"0
